Children whose parents are working may need full day, full year child care. NMHSA trains child care providers to deliver Head Start services on site at their child care center or home. Children have a Head Start preschool experience as part of their day. Head Start staff monitor and assist providers to help parents become comfortable in their role as working parents. This partnership offers child care providers access to resources normally not available to them such as training and college courses. The entire child care experience for all children is enhanced by this model.
